Freeform Boulder Opal – 8.6mm by 6.0mm

This loose, pre-owned freeform boulder opal, in an excellent condition, is ideal for a one-of-a-kind jewellery make with a sustainable edge.

This gem has been cut so one side is much flatter than the other, but as it’s quiet a shallow gem, you could probably still set it with either side as the top side, depending on which side you prefer the look of.

• Size: 8.65mm long, 6.05mm wide, 3.05mm deep
• Weight: 1.30 ct
• Colour: reddish brown base colour with opal seams. The opal shows blue, green, yellow, orange and red play-of-colour.
• Clarity: Opaque
• Shape: Freeform but very oval in shape
• Treatment: None
• Origin: Pre-owned.
