Sustainable Sparkle: Pre-Owned Gems for your Creative Designs

Hi, I’m Jackie, the gem geek (and qualified gemologist) behind Azonomy.

I source, clean and identify loose gemstones so you know exactly what you’re buying. The stones you see in the photos are the ones you receive, with a strong focus on pre-owned gems that are ready for a second life in your jewellery.

Alongside the shop, I write all about gemstones in my blog, where I share my love of gemmology. From myths and history to the science behind identification, it’s a space for both curious beginners and fellow gem enthusiasts.

My Journey

I’ve always been drawn to gemstones, their colour, their sparkle, their individuality. After teaching myself jewellery making, I realised it was the stones themselves that fascinated me most. That led me to train as a gemologist and turn that interest into something deeper.

Now I spend my days immersed in gemstones, selecting, identifying and preparing them so they’re ready to become part of your creations.

Why Pre-Owned?

Many of the gemstones I sell have been recovered from old jewellery or sourced from retired jewellers. These stones still have so much more to give.

By choosing pre-owned gems, you’re helping reduce waste and make use of materials that already exist, without compromising on beauty or quality.
