Freeform Boulder Opal – 12.1mm by 9.4mm

This loose, pre-owned freeform boulder opal, in an excellent condition, is ideal for a one-of-a-kind jewellery make with a sustainable edge.

Both sides of this gemstone are curved, but one is more flattened then the other. It’s like a flattened pebble but as it’s quiet thin it could easily be treated like a cabochon.

• Colour: dark brown and cream base colour with opal seams. The opal has green and blue play-of-colour.
